Relationals提供了DB的SAAS服务

Relationals是美国一家基于WEB的业务应用提供商。美国时间1月8号发布了LongJump Database-as-a-Service(DaaS)的服务，这项服务面向企业提供基于WEB应用的关系数据库管理系统（RDBMS）。

Daas是一项onDemand服务，web应用，表格计算等所需的数据共有和管理，还有一些高可用性的内嵌工具是其主要卖点。这项服务免去了自己购买和管理数据库服务器的麻烦，可以大大削减企业在数据库系统上的投入。备份和维护的工作都可以免掉了！

在安全性方面，该项服务符合安全审核标准（SAS 70 Type II），提供实时镜像功能，并且在可用性上达到了5个九的级别。

类似的服务还有amazon.com推出来的Amazon SimpleDB和Amazon Simple Storage。
